Two GCS Schools Advance to Say Yes Guilford’s March Madness Championship!

It’s championship week! The STEM Early College at NC A&T and Penn-Griffin School for the Arts face off this week in Say Yes Guilford’s Scholarship Registration Competition championship round.

The competition began with all 28 GCS high schools in head to head competition to see which would increase Say Yes registration by the highest percentage; two schools remain.

Say Yes Guilford’s scholarship department will export registration data Friday to determine which schools advance to the finals. Scoring is based on how much a school increases the percentage of seniors who have fully completed their Say Yes registration.

The winning school will receive a $1000 donation to the counseling department and bragging rights for the year. Seniors at the winning school will also receive an incentive.

Say Yes Guilford encourages every GCS senior to register for the scholarships, and registration is open through June 1 at sayyesguilford.org.

Say Yes Guilford continues to support our scholars in college and high school seniors applying for scholarships through phone calls, emails and via our website, sayyesguilford.org. Since its inception, Say Yes Guilford has awarded over $8.6 million to GCS graduates, and our partnership with over 100 private colleges and universities provided another $11.3 million for a total impact of over $20 million.
